For most businesses, the Price Estimator lands within a reasonable range of what we'd actually propose. It's an automated tool, so it can't account for everything, but it's a good way to find out whether TMA's services make sense for your budget before you spend time on a call.

The Price Estimator is built for one business at a time. If you have several, you can run it separately for each, or just run it for your primary business, which is usually where the most time and attention go.

Your estimate covers ongoing services only; it doesn't include catching up on prior months or years. We call that back work, and we may be able to help. Depending on how much there is, back work typically takes 30 to 60 days once we have the information we need. Book a call, and we'll help you figure out what needs to be done, how long it should take, and what it will cost.

Once we've agreed on the services you need, we can usually get started within one to two weeks.

Implementation starts with a planning meeting for each service you're signing up for, held at our Indianapolis office or by video call. In the accounting meeting, you'll meet your service team, walk us through your business and goals, and we'll map out a plan to get your books and taxes on track. In the payroll meeting, held at least two weeks before your first payroll, we'll review your current process and plan setup, training, and your first payroll run. After your first month of reports and your first payroll cycle, we'll meet again to review results, answer questions, and suggest ways to make things run more smoothly.

TMA isn't the cheapest option. Our clients generally invest a little more because they get a lot more support: a dedicated team that knows your business, clear monthly reports, and answers when you need them. Lower-cost providers exist, but they typically don't include the same processes, team, and level of service that TMA's clients receive.

We believe in transparency. The terms of our services are spelled out in a written service agreement that covers scope, pricing, and key terms, with no hidden gotchas. We'll review the agreement together before your services start.
