The more payments you make, like vendor bills, purchases, and payroll, the more effort it takes to keep everything clean and accurate. Businesses with higher transaction volume typically see higher pricing because there’s more activity to manage each month.
Reporting complexity
If your business involves multiple locations, loans, inventory, or special tax filings, your books are a bit more complex, and that means more work for our team. We assess each client’s needs to make sure pricing reflects the level of expertise and service required.
Number of employees
The more employees you have, the more payroll and compliance needs you’ll have, too. Whether you pay employees weekly or monthly, the size of your team directly affects how much time and tech it takes to get payroll done right.

How much does it cost to get started?
Our implementation fee typically ranges from $750 to $1,500. This covers the time we invest upfront to learn about your business, your goals, and how you currently handle business finances. We also help adapt, improve, and streamline processes so that you get the most from our services.
Need help cleaning up or catching up bookkeeping or tax returns? Backwork and prior-period tax filings are priced separately and discussed up front.

Our service plans are designed to meet the accounting, tax, and payroll needs of small businesses. However, we do offer personal income tax preparation as an add-on in most cases. Just let us know during onboarding.

Most clients go through changes, especially growth. We monitor your business activity (such as the number of employees, transactions, assets, or liabilities) so that your pricing can be adjusted as needed.
