Editorial Policy

At TMA Small Business Accounting, P.C., we are committed to publishing content that is accurate, practical, and genuinely useful to small business owners. Here's how we do it.

The content on this website — including our Learning Center articles, videos, and educational resources — is developed by the team of employees of TMA Small Business Accounting, P.C. (dba TMA Accounting) and is intended to give small business owners clear, practical information on accounting, payroll, and tax topics. Our content draws on more than 25 years of direct experience serving hundreds of small businesses. We may use AI tools to support the research and development of content. Content development and oversight is led by TMA's leadership team, including Certified Public Accountants and Certified Payroll Professionals, in collaboration with our accounting, tax, payroll, and media professionals. Content that addresses technical aspects of taxation, accounting, or payroll topics is reviewed by credentialed professionals before publication. Our credentialed staff are accountable to the standards of the AICPA, IRS, and/or PayrollOrg, as applicable.

Some content published on this website and in our client newsletter is sourced from third-party contributors. Where third-party content appears, it is selected for relevance and general alignment with TMA's standards, but may not be subject to the same level of independent verification by TMA's team.

Content on this website reflects information available at the time of publication. Tax law, payroll regulations, and accounting best practices change frequently, and some content may not reflect the most current developments. If you have a question about a specific topic or believe something needs correction, we welcome your feedback at content@tmaaccounting.com. For full terms governing the use of this website and its content, please review our Terms of Use.
