• How accurate is the price estimate?

  The pricing estimator tool provides a good ballpark estimate of our pricing in nearly all cases. It’s a great way for business owners to research their options and make informed decisions about whether our services might be worth the cost.

   

• How can I get a precise quote for the services I need?

  Our Pricing Estimator is a great way to get a general sense of how much it would cost to implement our services in your business. However, since no two businesses are alike, we suggest scheduling a call with us. This will allow us to learn more about you, your business, and your specific needs. Then we can create a service plan and price quote just for you! 

• How quickly can TMA start to work with me and my business?

  Once we have helped you determine exactly what services you need, we can usually get started fairly quickly, typically within one to two weeks. 

• What's the process for implementing our services in your business?

  Implementation typically starts with two important meetings with our service teams.  The first meeting is focused on the accounting and tax side of things, and the second focuses on payroll.  These meetings may be held in person at our Indianapolis office or by video call.

  Accounting strategy meeting – 60-90 minutes

  Initial meeting between the business owner and the TMA accounting service team.

  • Learn about your business, specific needs, and goals.
  • Discuss any specific questions you may have about your accounting and tax situation.
  • Develop a plan to implement our services in your business.
  • Develop a plan to complete backwork, if applicable. 

  Accounting Follow-up meeting – 30-60 minutes

  Scheduled to occur soon after we are able to complete your first regular monthly financial reports. 

  • Review the reports with you.
  • Make suggestions for how to streamline and/or improve bookkeeping.
  • Discuss your financial reports and answer your questions.
  • Discuss and plan for current year income taxes.

  Payroll strategy meeting - 60-90 minutes

  Initial meeting between the business owner and the TMA payroll service team.  This meeting typically occurs at least two weeks before the first payroll to be processed.

  • We learn about your existing payroll process and any opportunities to streamline.
  • Discuss how we help get payroll organized and streamlined within our platform, iSolved.
  • Develop a plan for setup, training, and the first payroll run.
  • Discuss any specific questions you may have about your payroll situation.

  Payroll follow-up -  30-60 minutes

  Scheduled to occur soon after the completion of your first regular payroll cycle.

  • Review the process and results.
  • Make suggestions for how to streamline and/or improve your payroll process.
  • Discuss your payroll reports and answer your questions.
  • Discuss and plan for current year-end payroll reporting.

  *Backwork

  If you need help getting caught up on bookkeeping or tax returns for prior months/years, we may be able to help you determine what needs to be done and how to go about assembling the information needed to complete it. Depending on the extent of the work, the process typically takes 30-60 days from the time you provide us with the information needed. • What if I need help catching up on bookkeeping and tax filings?

  The estimated price shown above doesn’t include catching up on bookkeeping and/or taxes for prior periods. But don’t worry, we may be able to help with that! Many business owners come to us needing a bit of help catching up. We call that “back work,” and we can help you determine what needs to be done, how long it should take, and how much it will cost. • Are TMA’s clients usually satisfied with our services?

  Yes—more than 90% of our business clients stay with TMA for as long as their business is in operation. On average, we work with our small business clients for more than eight years. We think that kind of track record says a lot about the trust and value our team provides. 

• How do TMA’s prices compare to other providers?

  TMA’s cost isn’t the cheapest out there. Our clients generally invest a little more because we provide a lot more support. While lower-cost options exist, they don’t include the same processes and level of service that TMA’s clients receive.

• Where’s the fine print?

  We believe in transparency. The terms and conditions of our services are outlined in a written service agreement that covers scope, pricing, and key terms – no hidden gotchas. We’ll review your service agreement together before your services start.
